Well her small Paris apartment has apparently great room for creativity!...
Cheers to Jossy who's got an upside down tree this year and who even made the tree decoration herself!

>Yasmine Fares Jewelry: the invitation is public!
Yasmine is a friend who designs gorgeous jewelry, minimalist pure lines, just as we like them! I worked on the logo & image of her brand as well as the art direction of her photo shoots.
Here are a few words with her to let you know more about her world...
SbyM: Yasmine, how did you start your career in Jewelry designing? Can you tell us a bit about your achievements?
Y: I actually did not start my career as a jewelry designer, I am an architect. And whenever I had a break between two jobs or two clients, I absentmindedly drew recurring sketches... And those little sketches inspired the fundamental lines of my collection today.
SbyM: A few words about your collection?
Y: My designs are all about interlacing lines, horizontal lines, vertical lines... exactly like architecture: the ever interfering traces of man in the urban landscape... two worlds always mixing, sometimes with passion and some other times with serenity...
Voila! You have two days only to be the lucky holder of one of her pieces, so hurry up!

>on my shelf
Sometimes, for one reason or another, some designs are not accepted by the client, but when I've had fun working on those, I hate to put them in the archive attic!... So let me share those with you before they go into oblivion. This will not be the official campaign so "This is a work of fiction and any resemblance between the characters..."

>new Beirut postcards
Two things I love are starting to evade from our landscapes: old Mediterranean houses and ...postcards! So I decided to please myself with both in one shot.. Freshly published, the Beirut Series postcards, my snapshots of little corners in Beirut that are disappearing completely. In fact some of these don't even exist anymore. Well at least they're captured now, and you can even write on them:-)

>ups and downs on St Honoré
A few days ago I went with a wild friend on a wilder shopping spree in Rue St Honoré, where you can find a high concentration of the latest trends in fashion, design and food: Great fun for taste buds and soul!
We started with a soup at Higuma ; full spicy energy refill!
And then we went on to discover the new AESOP boutique, Australian herbal power... The boutique itself is in splendid Aussie wood, and the citrus fruits hydrating balm was just as splendid!
We continued towards uno de 50, silver spanish accessories, also new on St Honoré: If you're looking for a statement piece, that's where you should look!
After that, Colette was just too much.. Too much people, too much attitudes... I think too much hype kills the hype, no?
So we decided to play it low key and try the new fruit dips at Godiva with a lovely iced green tea "desert des tartares" at Café Verlet... Mmmm!
The end of a perferct afternoon...
